My Story
Dear Seeker of Beauty,
Welcome to this space—a sanctuary of story, soul, and creation.
My name is Tashina Marie. I am a multidisciplinary artist, a myth-weaver, and a daughter of both wilderness and wonder. I believe in the power of beauty to heal, of ritual to restore, and of art to guide us back to what is most true.
I did not grow up believing I could be an artist.
Like many of us, I was taught to survive, to stay small, to be silent.
For years I wandered through other callings—firefighter, soldier, wanderer , designer—always seeking something I couldn’t quite name. I wanted to serve. To protect. To build something lasting. But underneath it all was a deeper longing: to create a life of meaning, not just endurance.
Art was there all along—quiet as breath, waiting for me to remember.
It wasn't until I allowed myself to truly listen that I saw what had always been true:
I have learned to listen to the world not only with my eyes, but with my whole being.
I speak in the language of texture, story, and form.
And I create not for escape, but for return.
My work is rooted in nature, mythic memory, and ways of knowing carried through land, body, and lineage. I gather fragments—metal, clay, wood, memory—and shape them into altars of connection. My art is a conversation between the seen and unseen, the broken and the becoming. It honors the ancestral voices and future dreams that live within us all.
I create for those who’ve walked through darkness and chosen to sing—and for the living world that teaches us how to return, again and again.
For the quiet ones, the wild ones, the ones who feel too much.
For those seeking a deeper beauty, a deeper truth, and a deeper belonging.
This space is for you.
May you find in my work a mirror, a threshold, a light.
May it remind you that art is not a luxury—it is a lifeline.
And may you know that no matter where you’ve come from, you are not alone.
With wild heart and open hands, Welcome!
